The elevator pitch is a tool that students often learn about during their GME program but seldom used by GME program leaders and staff to promote their own program. Elevator pitches are useful for summarizing or providing a brief description of an idea, product, service, organization, or an individual’s background and experience. So, why not have an elevator pitch for your GME program?
What should you say in your elevator pitch? The pithy answer is very little and then only the most important one or two points you want to make. This can be a challenge so here are eight suggestions to help.
