Welcome to the MBA News Digest podcast series, Episode 002. My guest for this episode is Makini Allwood, a digital marketing professional working for the Chicago Booth Executive MBA Program. In this role she works with campus teams in Chicago, London, and Hong Kong to create targeted content and communications. She has worked for Chicago Booth since 2016 and has also worked as a member of the Evening and Weekend MBA program team. Makini has a dual BA in English and Studio Arts from Carleton College.
Our conversation focuses on social media and the role it plays at Booth and the Booth EMBA program, how social media is managed at Booth, the primary platforms they use, and how the social media efforts are coordinated across multiple programs, platforms, and activities globally. We wrap up the interview with a few suggestions on how program managers can jump start their own social media programs.
